wonderful getaway
helpful staff comfortable bed wide variety relaxing swims
The staff greeted us warmly. They were genuinely helpful and attentive. our room offered a great view, and the bed was very comfortable. i especially enjoyed the great breakfast. There was a wide variety of options. the pool was another highlight. It.
I found that the gym equipment was a bit outdated. Some machines needed maintenance. i was still able to complete my workout though, so it wasn't a major problem.

the slieve double included a king-size bed and a tv with multiple channels. bedside tables with reading lamps provided convenience. blackout curtains ensured complete darkness. a small seating area with two chairs was also available.

the hotel sits near a golf course. it offers direct beach access, perfect for walks along the shore. the mourne mountains are also visible from the hotel grounds. plenty of parking spaces are available .

the breakfast buffet featured fresh fruit, pastries, and hot items such as scrambled eggs and bacon. the hotel restaurant provides a menu with seafood and vegetarian options. the wolf bar serves a variety of cocktails. high chairs are available for children.

The concierge offered assistance with luggage storage and provided recommendations for local attractions. We appreciate that. daily housekeeping kept our room tidy. They always did a superb job. turndown service was provided each evening. room service was available 24/7.

super clean room credit person breakfast options
The room was super clean on arrival. The guy who checked us in was a credit to the hotel. The breakfast had loads of options.

underwhelming stay with breakfast issues
dark room strange eggs
The room was quite dark with emerald green walls. there was a small window offering a limited view (i suspect better views are available elsewhere). i found it inconvenient that there wasn't a dressing table with a mirror and proper lighting. breakfast was disappointing. Everything seemed dried out and the eggs were quite strange.

beachfront location kind staff
The hotel has many beautiful details inside and out. I especially enjoyed the beachfront location. The staff were very kind. That stood out to me.
The check-in process was slow. I had to wait about 20 minutes.

majestic building tasteful decoration professional service grubby hotel unfriendly staff
The building had a majestic presence among lavish grounds facing the sea. i found the bistro within the spa to be quite good. It was bright, relaxing, and decorated with taste. i was particularly pleased to find a clinic offering wax removal. The service was professional.
i visited the hotel today for a cup of coffee and do not plan to return. the staff member i spoke with at reception was also not very friendly.

quick room service beautiful breakfast friendly staff great location
the room service was quick, i appreciated that. the breakfast was beautiful with lots of options. the staff was friendly in all areas. the location was great and it was easy to find everything i needed.
The fire alarm went off for about 10 seconds very late at night. It was disruptive.
